I was just doing my daily comb-thru of Pro Football Talk, and I found this story that made me cringe.
On Monday night, former Saints quarterback Bobby Hebert apparently had forgotten to take his laptop to the Superdome.
Here’s the video evidence of Hebert openly celebrating after Drew Brees found an uncovered Devery Henderson for a 75-yard touchdown. (Thanks, ClubhouseCancer.com.)

Now, there aren’t a ton of people out there who can appreciate the no cheering in the press box rule, because they don’t ever step into a press box. I’ve been there, I know what it’s like. It’s hard not to cheer for your team, but you don’t do it because it’s your job.
There are a different set of rules for radio announcers, as they are told that it’s okay to be a homer. Radio announcers are supposed to convey the idea that they want their team to win. So, I’m not pissed about that.
Bobby just looks like a moron. He is sitting there in the press box, wearing Saints merchandise and dancing around like Frank the Tank. To make it worse, there are some people from Louisiana on the PFT comment section that talk about Hebert’s tendency to drink like Frank the Tank.
So, in short, I don’t care that he’s cheering for the home team. I care that he looks like a moron and it’s funny.
(EDIT: So, the video I put up got taken down. However, instead I put up another one. This time Hebert is dressed normally, but instead gives the old “F” you sign to the other team. Well done, bobby.)
