This Week’s Biggest NFL Injury? Saints’ Porter Tears ACL…

Whenever I watch the Saints play, I frequently find myself staring at Tracy Porter. I thought he could be a good man-to-man corner, and It turns out I was right. He’s really emerging as a nice playmaker at that spot under the tutelage of Greg Williams and Darren Sharper. Not so much anymore according to Rotoworld:

The Saints reportedly fear that RCB Tracy Porter will be lost for the season with a torn left ACL.

An MRI will determine the extent. Porter, whose first season also ended on injured reserve, was playing very well with 41 tackles, three picks, eight breakups, and two forced fumbles through nine games. Rookie Malcolm Jenkins may be forced to start the rest of the way of Porter’s ACL is torn.
