Frank Trigg Will Get Another Fight…

It’s been a tough few days for Frank Trigg. First, he had his UFC comeback spoiled by the right hand of Josh Koscheck. Then, Dana White said that we wouldn’t be seeing Frank back in the Octagon anytime soon. Now, Frank gets some good news as MMAJunkie and Yahoo! are both report that we will get to see the 37 year old back in the Octagon at least one more time.

Whatever the reason, one thing is certain: Frank Trigg will get another UFC fight.

As MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) reported on Monday, UFC president Dana White on Saturday suggested Trigg would be dropped by the organization following his weekend UFC 103 loss to Josh Koscheck in Dallas. But on Monday, the veteran fighter learned he’ll get another UFC fight.

“They said I’ll get one more shot, another fight, to prove I belong here,” Trigg told MMAjunkie.com. “If I win, they’ve got to keep me around. If I lose and it’s back-to-back losses, they’ll probably drop me, rightfully so.”

Trigg goes on to say that he is already back in the gym, and that he is ready and willing to fight as soon as possible. He mentions both Vegas cards that are coming up, and a rumored one in Austrailia in Februrary. Personally, I’m happy for Frank. It wasn’t like he looked overmatched against Koscheck and Josh grounded him into the mat. Trigg just got clipped and couldn’t recover. I’m interested to see who they put against Trigg.

Any ideas? Leave them in the comments!

    there is a misunderstanding here
The public is being asked to accept that the 35-45 age group is on their way out
I am here to say BS
If you fight the fight they want you to fight …maybe that bs holds water
but if you fight your fight… smart explosive etc the 35-45 yr olds will not have to rely on the stamina as much. All this tying up is because these idiots all fight the same game.
