Floyd Mayweather Is a Moron…

Ladies and gentelmen, I never want to hear this guy speak ever again. Throughout his career he’s said some pretty freaking dumb things, but this has got to be the coup de grace:

“In boxing, we know who’s dominating. Black fighters and Hispanic fighers is dominating in this sport. And this is not a racial statement but there’s no white fighters in boxing that’s dominating, so they had to go to something else and start something new.”

He’s referring of course to MMA. First off, his grammer is just awful. Second, this could not be any less true. Let’s start naming excellent black MMA fighters:

- Jon Jones
- Rashad Evans
- Anthony Johnson
- Cheick Kongo
- Quentin “Rampage” Jackson

I came up with five more, but I won’t bore you with their names. The point is that Mayweather is an idiot. Also, this is a sport that was dominated by Brazillian guys for most of it’s infancy. Last time I checked, Brazillians are Hispanic. Or Portuguese. Whatever, you get my point.

This is all leading up to a Pay-Per-View showdown between Mayweather vs. Marquez and UFC 103 in Dallas on the 19th of September. It will be the first time that a major boxing pay-per-view will take on a UFC card on the same night.

Here’s hoping that Floyd’s ego gets smashed.
