Proof The UFC Scoring Is Screwed Up

By Jason

Adalaide Byrd who scored it 48-46, gave 4 and 5 to Jackson and Griffin 1, 2 and 3 with 2 as 10-8

Nelson Hamilton had it 48-46 with 1 and 4 for Jackson, and Griffin getting 2 10-8

Roy Silbert had it 49-46 with only round 4 for Jackson.

Wow. Two of the three judges did not give Jackson Round 1.

Are they blind?

Jackson deserves an immediate rematch.

Been saying it for a while but something needs to be done about the way the UFC is scored.

do u know anything about UFC? scoring is striking and over all performance, jackson landed like 3 punches the whole fight and maybe threw 20, griffen never stopped, maybe never did as much dmg, but controlled the whole fight, with his leg kicks, take downs, and his ground control, please if u dont now the sport dont make dumb comments

So apparently the editors at Sherdog.com, the worlds leading MMA site, don’t know anything either?

Did you miss when Jackson almost finished Forrest in the first? Or the fourth round when Jackson cut Griffin.

I can understand giving the third to Griffin, as well as the 2nd and fifth.

But to say Rampage landed like three punches the whole fight is just an incorrect statement.

I agree that Griffin controlled the fight. And if you read my other post it says that if this was scored like pride, looking at the whole fight instead of round by round, I’d give it to Griffin.

However it’s not. And when you look round by round it’s hard to say that rampage didn’t at least earn a draw in this fight.

it depends on how the rounds are scored. yeah rampage got in one good hit that almost knocked out forrest…but anybody can do that…and forrest recovered almost immediately. so i give the round to forrest because he did better before and after that moment.
